• Review, evaluate work environments and assess risks
• Design/monitor programs and procedures to control and prevent injury and illness caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors.
• Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work, order suspension of activities that threat workers’ health and safety
• Investigate accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future
• Ensure compliance of operations and processes with established with laws, regulations, or OHS standards.
